Undeniably, every visit to Verona worthy of its name starts from Piazza Bra, the city's largest and most famous square.

What else to visit in Verona?
Juliet's House, because you can't say you've been to Verona if you haven't looked out from the famous balcony while celebrating love (or if you haven't touched the bronze statue placed in the center of the courtyard, it brings good luck!).
A short walk and you reach Piazza dei Signori, with the statue of Dante in the center and all around some of the city's most beautiful palaces, such as the Palazzo degli Scaligeri, with its picturesque Ghibelline merlons, and the Palazzo della Ragione.

If you are in Verona, not by chance known as the "city of love," during the week of Valentine's Day, the famous heart-shaped market takes place right in this square.

From Piazza dei Signori you can catch a glimpse of the Scaliger Tombs, splendid monumental gothic tombs with open tabernacle-like structures with three mausoleums standing out against the sky.
And there we are in Piazza delle Erbe, the oldest and yet liveliest, most vibrant and bustling square in the city, surrounded by cocktail bars, restaurants and cafes.
Time for lunch!

Then, what to do in Verona after lunch?
We start again by contemplating Piazza delle Erbe, which earlier took a back seat since it was overshadowed by a delicious risotto all'amarone 😊
The Palazzo del Comune, the Casa dei Giudici (Domus Nova) and the Case Mazzanti all have beautiful frescoes on their facades, and then there are Palazzo Maffei with its Baroque style, the ancient fountain with the statue known as the Madonna Verona, and the Torre dei Lamberti, from the top of which you can enjoy wonderful panoramic views of Verona.
Then, we take a look at churches and basilicas, which are also beautiful and picturesque.

- Basilica of San Zeno, Romanesque masterpiece where you can admire a precious triptych by Mantegna;
- Verona Cathedral, Verona's most beautiful and precious church, with a stunning altarpiece by Titian;
- Basilica of Saint Anastasia and Church of San Fermo, both featuring a fresco by Pisanello
The curtain falls on a beautiful day, but there is still a place to visit.
We are talking about Castelvecchio, the most impressive military monument in Verona.
Its brick-red color and crenellated walls give it a truly majestic feel, especially at sunset time, when the place is bathed in a kaleidoscope of colors by the light of the setting sun, making it one of the most photographed spots in the city.
